Learner ages and account flows
Mind Craftii’s intended educational audience is ages 5–20 inclusive, including age 20. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, a child is a person under 18; learners aged 18–20 are adults.
Current family features use an adult parent or guardian account with under-18 child profiles. There is no independent adult-learner registration flow through these features. Parental consent requirements for children are separate from administrative account approval and verification.
Your role
You must be an adult parent/legal guardian to create and approve a minor's profile. Current family learning requires a privately recorded child age (0–17) or date of birth; the service's intended audience is ages 5–20 inclusive, including learners aged 20, but no independent adult-learner flow is introduced here. Confirm your authority, review these notices and complete the required guardian verification before affected child learning is activated.
Guardian verification
An adult parent or legal guardian creates the family account and gives explicit consent. The administrator independently checks identity, adulthood, guardianship and applicable legal consent requirements through the approved offline process before activation. Account-review APIs do not accept identity documents, physical forms, document contents or external evidence references. Minimal consent and administrative review audit records remain in the backend. Government-ID images are not intentionally stored in the Mind Craftii VPS database. Any necessary non-ID verification evidence handled outside the app must use the operator’s approved secure process and be removed within 30 days after successful verification, except for a specific documented legal hold or other legitimate retention requirement. A generic checkbox or administrative attestation alone is not sufficient when law requires stronger proof.
Core service consent
The service uses parent contact/account identifiers; child name, private age or DOB, grade, level, preferences and optional photo; enrollments, quiz answers, scores, progress, active learning/watch activity; and private Ask Teacher text/images/audio/video/follow-ups where separately enabled. Teacher replies support text/images/audio. Authorized family users and assigned educational staff access the relevant material for educational/support duties. Moderation/quarantine may apply. Optional photos can be removed without account deletion. Firebase supports account authentication and recovery; Hostinger hosts the service.
Separate choices
Ask Teacher enablement is a separate recorded child-purpose choice that requires current family consent and guardian review. Parent promotions require a separate optional withdrawable marketing preference, not mandatory child-learning consent. No such marketing preference is currently implemented, so promotional messages are prohibited until it exists. Public promotional use of identifiable child work/media/progress/testimonials requires separate specific optional and withdrawable permission; no current promotional consent mechanism exists, so such use is prohibited.
Withdrawal and versions
You can withdraw core consent or disable Ask Teacher in parent Legal & Privacy controls. Withdrawal stops learning/features requiring that consent and disables Ask Teacher; it does not automatically erase records or cancel legitimate prior processing. You can separately request deletion. Material changes create new privacy, child-privacy and consent versions. A parent must accept the current versions before affected learning/Ask Teacher continues; existing accounts are not silently marked as accepting the new terms.
Requests
Parent-confirmed account deletion starts immediately without administrator approval and retries automatically if cleanup is processing, with disclosed legally justified legal/security/hold/provider-backup exceptions. Ordinary two-year inactive-account retention is a separate rule. Separate website enquiries need a separate request. You may request access/a copy or correction through authenticated requests or mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com; there is no parent self-service export. Website notices announce changes.
Parental consent and offline review
An adult parent or legal guardian explicitly consents to the versioned Privacy Policy, Children's Privacy Notice and Parental Consent Notice through a required checkbox and submission. We record the authenticated account identity, decision, notice versions, timestamp and minimal audit metadata. The application does not require signed-form uploads, printing, evidence-reference entry or identity-document submission. Administrators complete the approved offline review and attest that applicable legal requirements are satisfied before activating access. A checkbox or administrator attestation alone is not legally sufficient where additional verifiable parental-consent proof is required. The operator must complete a legally appropriate process outside the application; if it is unsupported or incomplete, the administrator must not activate the account. No identity documents, forms or sensitive offline review materials are stored by these account-review APIs. The backend retains only consent records, review status, administrator identity, timestamps and an internal review-event identifier; existing historical records remain subject to retention and deletion controls. Ask Teacher remains a separate opt-in purpose. Withdrawal stops affected processing; reactivation requires a new consent decision and fresh offline review.
Deletion and retained records
After an authenticated deletion request is accepted, service access ends immediately and deletion processing begins. We normally aim to complete application account and associated data deletion within 30 days of acceptance. This is a service target, not a discretionary waiting period or a promise of erasure from every third-party backup. If cleanup fails, the durable request retries automatically while the service is running; use your receipt to check status or contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com about a delay. Any retained records must have a specific legitimate legal, security, accounting or documented-hold basis and follow the disclosed retention periods. Deletion is not conditional on a fee, subscription upgrade, refund waiver or administrator approval. The Account & Data Deletion page explains ownership checks, recovery and receipts; the Privacy Policy explains retention, external enquiries and backups. Delivered offline content cannot be recalled instantly from a disconnected device.
