Learner ages and account flows
Mind Craftii’s intended educational audience is ages 5–20 inclusive, including age 20. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, a child is a person under 18; learners aged 18–20 are adults.
Current family features use an adult parent or guardian account with under-18 child profiles. There is no independent adult-learner registration flow through these features. Parental consent requirements for children are separate from administrative account approval and verification.
Account deletion without administrator permission
Any registered parent can initiate permanent family account deletion, including while approval or verification is pending, rejected, revoked or otherwise restricted. In the app use Settings → Account → Delete Account, or Delete Account on restricted access screens. Without installing the app use Open the Mind Craftii account deletion service. Review the consequences and confirm ownership with your password. If you cannot sign in, use password recovery or, when enabled, the deletion-only secure link sent to your registered parent email. If recovery is unavailable, contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com for ownership-checked deletion assistance. No administrator approval, manual account verification, waiting period or mandatory support contact is required to initiate deletion.
Deletion processing
Deletion intent is saved durably and account access ends immediately. Active family sessions and online video tickets are revoked. Firebase identity removal is attempted immediately; if that fails, disabling sign-in and revoking refresh tokens are also attempted while cleanup retries. A Firebase outage may delay those provider operations, but the service continues to deny account and learning access. The processor removes Firebase Authentication, linked child profiles, private questions and attachments, learning records, consents, demographic records, sessions and application settings; retired profile files are physically removed with safe retries. A private deletion receipt reports processing or completed application deletion even after sign-in is removed. Processing is not represented as completion. Partial failures retry automatically while the service is running. Suspension or deactivation is not a substitute for deletion. Other families and shared teaching materials are preserved.
Deletion completion target
After an authenticated deletion request is accepted, service access ends immediately and deletion processing begins. We normally aim to complete application account and associated data deletion within 30 days of acceptance. This is a service target, not a discretionary waiting period or a promise of erasure from every third-party backup. If cleanup fails, the durable request retries automatically while the service is running; use your receipt to check status or contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com about a delay. Any retained records must have a specific legitimate legal, security, accounting or documented-hold basis and follow the disclosed retention periods. Deletion is not conditional on a fee, subscription upgrade, refund waiver or administrator approval.
Limited retention
Minimal completed deletion receipts normally expire after 30 days and necessary security/audit records after up to 180 days, except a specific legally justified documented hold. Necessary non-ID verification evidence handled outside the app has the existing 30-day post-review removal target, except for a specific documented legitimate hold. Protected backups and provider records have separate lifecycles; the operator's 30-day backup target has not yet been independently verified. Hashed deletion markers are retained until the restore/backup policy can safely expire them, to prevent deleted accounts returning after a backup restore. No blanket retention of linked live child data is authorized. Separate public website enquiries and necessary external accounting records are handled under their disclosed lifecycles.
Optional app support reports
When Report an Issue is available in the app, signed-in parents, students and teachers can choose a category, describe an issue and optionally attach an image. Avoid passwords, OTPs, identity documents and unnecessary information about children or other people. A child using a family workspace submits under the family account; a parent can help prepare the report.
Authorized administrators privately review reports to provide support and handle privacy or technical issues. Other users and teachers cannot browse reports. Descriptions and images are protected in storage; selected images are checked and unnecessary image metadata is removed. Report status and administrative actions are recorded for accountability.
Resolved reports follow the existing 30-day completed privacy-request retention period. Family account deletion removes linked app reports and images. Minimal security and administrative audit records, legally required records and protected backups follow the Privacy Policy. Email and website enquiries remain separate; contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com for those records.
