Learner ages and account flows
Mind Craftii’s intended educational audience is ages 5–20 inclusive, including age 20. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, a child is a person under 18; learners aged 18–20 are adults.
Current family features use an adult parent or guardian account with under-18 child profiles. There is no independent adult-learner registration flow through these features. Parental consent requirements for children are separate from administrative account approval and verification.
Learners and families
Mind Craftii helps learners ages 5–20 inclusive in India, including learners aged 20. The current child-profile features are for children under 18 and use an adult parent/guardian account. Your parent creates and approves your profile and controls consent. We do not offer a separate adult sign-up flow through these child profiles.
What we use
We use your name, private age or date of birth, class, learning preferences and subjects, learner identifiers, enrollments, quiz answers, scores, progress and lesson/watch activity to support learning. A profile photo is optional and your parent can remove it. We do not routinely store government-ID numbers or copies as learner information; necessary guardian review may involve viewing evidence outside the application.
Asking your teacher
With parent approval, you can send private text, images, audio, video and follow-ups. Your teacher may reply with text, images or audio. Only authorized family users and assigned educational staff should see the relevant communication. Staff can moderate/quarantine inappropriate media. Ask your parent before sharing anything personal; do not send passwords, addresses, contact details or unnecessary sensitive information. The microphone is used only when you choose to record audio, and the picker lets you choose media.
Your privacy
There is no intended public child profile, public feed or child-to-child public messaging. We do not sell or rent your personal information, use personalized child advertising, or use your learning behavior for cross-app/cross-site ads. Firebase/Google helps with your parent's account security; Hostinger hosts the service. Teachers must not send identifying private learner material to external AI tools.
Parent controls and deletion
Your parent can remove your photo, correct your private age or date of birth, disable Ask Teacher, withdraw consent or request deletion. Inactive learning/profile/question records normally follow two years from the later of service expiry and last account/learning activity, with operator review for removal/anonymization. When your parent’s deletion request is authenticated and accepted, access ends immediately and application deletion normally has a 30-day service target without administrator approval; necessary legal/security records and temporary provider backups have separate limited lifecycles. Separate website enquiries require a separate request. Ask your parent to contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com for help or to request access/correction/deletion.
Optional app support reports
When Report an Issue is available in the app, signed-in parents, students and teachers can choose a category, describe an issue and optionally attach an image. Avoid passwords, OTPs, identity documents and unnecessary information about children or other people. A child using a family workspace submits under the family account; a parent can help prepare the report.
Authorized administrators privately review reports to provide support and handle privacy or technical issues. Other users and teachers cannot browse reports. Descriptions and images are protected in storage; selected images are checked and unnecessary image metadata is removed. Report status and administrative actions are recorded for accountability.
Resolved reports follow the existing 30-day completed privacy-request retention period. Family account deletion removes linked app reports and images. Minimal security and administrative audit records, legally required records and protected backups follow the Privacy Policy. Email and website enquiries remain separate; contact mindcraftii.edu@gmail.com for those records.
